Photography

Just thought I'd share this image with you all. I have started to go through a lot of my old images,
as I am starting to load up to Photoshelter

I came across this image, taken in Australia and to be honest I am not 100% sure of the location, but I am sure it was Queensland between Brisbane and Townsville. I did a bit of work on a cattle station to boost my funds for travel, which of course gave me time to capture this image at the end of a hard days work. Back then i mostly shot E6 ( Slidefilm) which was ideal for picture agents which of course meant I could sell and of course make money, although in the early days the money i made would'nt have keeped a door mouse alive for a week.
Thinking back it was this shot that really got me into landscapes. It was the moment I captured in time, because as I went back to the same location the next day the scene looked different.
Yesterday was different from today and it will different the next day. I use this rule alot when doing landscapes, there's some luck and some timing involved in getting the right image.
Anyway hope you enjoy.
